Veronica Torcomian

Veronica Torcomian passed away peacefully in her home on December 5, 2023. Veronica was born on December 8, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Dertad and Makrouhi Dertadian. She married Albert Torcomian on October 14, 1950 and had three children, Lynn, Thomas, and John. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Meem”.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Torcomian, her parents, Dertad and Makrouhi Dertadian, her brother, Harry Dertadian, her son-in-law, Souren Baboujian, and daughters-in-law, Francesca Torcomian and Laura Torcomian.
Veronica is survived by her wonderful children Lynn Baboujian, Thomas Torcomian, and John Torcomian. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Toros Torcomian (Anita), Lisa Baboujian, John Baboujian, Christopher Torcomian (Larissa), Lori Rosado (Augustine), Ana Karagiannis (Christos), Alex Torcomian, and Adam Torcomian; and her great-grandchildren, Aren, Eva, Olivia, Vache, Arineh, Leo, Demi, and Max.  
Family and friends are invited to view from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday, December 11, 2023 at St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 630 Clothier Road, Wynnewood, PA 19096. Calling hour is from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and her  Funeral Service will begin promptly at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in the church.   Internment at Arlington Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Veronica’s name may be made to St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church.
