Anastasios Bouikidis Obituary

Anastasios "Taso" Bouikidis beloved husband, father, and grandfather

of Media, Pa, passed away on June 26th, 2019 from the effects of Alzheimer's.

Anastasios was born in Kozani, Agioi Anargiri, Greece, on June 10th, 1937 to

Stefanos Bouikidis, and Despina Bouikidis (Athanasiadis) siblings Kyriakos

(Charlie), Panagiotis (Pete) and sister Anastasia (Tasoula)

Anastasios Immigrated to the United States with his wife Eleftheria (Liberty)

Bouikidis (Mouratidou) in 1968, and settled in Upper Darby. He worked in the

food industry for most of his life, owning a few pizzeria's along the way with

his family.

He was a very loving and devoted family man, who always greeted you with a smile.

Anastasios is survived by his wife Liberty, his daughter Debbie, and her husband

Joseph O. Pyfer IV. His son Stefanos Bouikidis. His granddaughter's Kiki &Ria

Delakis, who love and miss their pappou

Friends and family are welcome to attend his viewing at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox

Church from 10-11 on July 2nd, 2019. His funeral service will take place following the viewing at 11am in the church.  

His interment, following the funeral service, will take place in St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter.
