Sofia Papadopoulos

Sofia Papadopoulos of Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully Wednesday morning on January 15, 2020.  She was born to Agathaggelos and Stavroula Parsalidis in Katerini, Greece on September 24, 1937.  Beloved wife of the late Polykarpos Papadopoulos.  Devoted mother to Stylianos Papadopoulos, Apostolos Papadopoulos and his wife Carol and Maria Michaelids and her husband Lazarus.  Loving grandmother to Pauli, Sophia, Anna, Sofia, Stylianos.  Cherished sister of Savvatou Giorgiadou, the late Anastasios Parsalidis, Olga Chatzipavlidou,  Frideriki Parsalidis and Giorgios Parsalidis.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Viewing and Funeral Service will be on Friday,  January 17, 2020 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 256 S. 8th Street, Philadelphia, PA.  The viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m.
