Zinon A. Stathis

        Zinon A. Stathis - January 1, 1951 - February 13, 2019. Our beloved father and grandfather passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 surrounded by his family. Zino was born in Velvendo, Kozani, Greece. 
             Zino loved his family, friends, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved his Eagles football, cooking, & taking road trips to fish in Ocean City, New Jersey. Zino always welcomed everyone with open arms and at a minutes notice would help anyone out. 
               Zino is survived by his wife of 43 years Athena Gramnenos Stathis, his daughters Maria Stathis, Kathy Stathis Caulfield  (née Joseph Caulfield Sr.), Antonia Stathis, his grandsons Joseph Caulfield Jr, James Caulfield, Anthony Winter, & Scott Winter Jr, his brothers and sisters in Greece Manolis, Athena, Anastasia, & Paraskevi and multiple nieces and nephews. 
              Zino is,predeceased by his mother Maria Stathis, his father Antonios Stathis, & his brother Yiannis Stathis. 
               his funeral service will be 11am Thursday, april 18, 2019 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 229 Powell Lane, Upper Darby, Pa. 19082. Viewing one hour prior to service in the church. Interment Fernwood Cemetery.
