Brian F. Murtaugh

Brian F. Murtaugh a lifetime resident of Upper Darby, Pa passed away peacefully at Jefferson Hospital on March 6, 2015 at the age of 57.
He was the son of John J. and Kathleen P. (Gavin) Murtaugh.
Brian was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High school and pursued a career as a Sr. Project Manager in Construction. He enjoyed traveling , skiing, hiking, fishing, golfing and had a passion for gardening. He was so successful with his garden, he often shared his produce with family, friends and neighbors. Brian loved spending time with his family, at family celebrations.
He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Lynn Murtaugh, five siblings, brothers Jack Murtaugh (Donna), Kevin Murtaugh (Ann), three sisters Maureen Beitler, Helene Hall (Ron), Kathleen Griffith (Michael), eight nieces, Dawn, Colleen, Brianna, Kelly, Caitlin, Gianna, Zayda, and Carlina. As well as nine nephews, Jack, Christopher, Neil, Matthew, Kevin, Daniel, Stephen, Dane, Shane, and eleven great nieces and nephews. Brian is preceded in death by his father, John J. Murtaugh.
A Memorial Gathering will take place on Thursday evening, March 12, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at Vraim Funeral Home, 66 South State Road, Upper Darby, Pa 19082 . Brian's Memorial Service will be celebrated at 7pm in the Funeral Home.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10am Saturday March 14 at St. Bernadette's Parish Catholic Church, 1035 Turner Ave., Drexel Hill, Pa. 19026. Family and friends may call from 9-9:45am in the Church.
