I never had the chance to say goodbye and thank you to one of the smartest and kindest person I ever met. I want to thank you my brother. You were there through some of my darkest times and treated me like I was your own brother. Your smile and laughter will never be forgotten. We had some great times. (John 10:27-28) This is one of passages I was able to read to Brian on our last visit together at Jefferson. It is the one thing he wanted us all to know.

I really appreciated Brian growing up. He added a bathroom to our house and we got to know him then. I enjoyed the hiking and canoeing trips, the volleyball triumphs, his help insulating the crawl space, and just having him around. We'll miss him.

Brian was a good friend. We had great times on our hiking and canoeing trips and in working on camp projects. He was a very knowledgable person.
I remember very well our first project - a bunch of rookies re-shingling the roof on Boys" Cabin #1. He was a great project manager as he watched us work, him on the ground and us on the roof. By the way, the roof never leaked.
