May God hold all of you in His tender and loving care. I am so grateful to have met and known Larry who will always be larger than life in my memory. He loved life, and he loved his family and friends even more. Blessings on Adrienne and the Riley Family.

The passing of Dr. Riley saddens me. He was an excellent teacher, a wonderful mentor and a friend. There were many times I felt worn out working and going to school at night, not only did he not let me give up he made me excel. I am proud to know that I was the recipient of one of those 15,000 volumes. I will always treasure the copy of James Joyce's Ulysses he gave me many years ago. My thoughts and prayers to all the Riley family. While heartbroken about the news, I feel I was blessed to have had Uncle Larry in my life. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Dear Adrienne and family: Our deepest sympathies on the loss of Larry, beloved husband, father and grandfather. We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to spend time together and share in his wit and humor. I am especially grateful for Larry's fond recollections of my father, his "Uncle Jack", and the stories of dad he so graciously shared which would otherwise have been lost forever. He will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we are better for having known him.
