Dena K. (Kokonos) Schriefer

Dena K. Schriefer  Feb 14, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Verne.  Sister-in-law of Alexandra Kokonos. Loving aunt of Mary, Speros (Amanda), James (Heather).  Grand aunt to 9 nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.  Predeceased by her brothers Jimmy and John Kokonos. She was past president of both St. Luke Church Parish Council and Woman’s Auxiliary.  Dena was one of the assistant directors of the personnel division of the  U.S. Army Signal Corps. She was the immediate supervisor of the Position Description Branch, with responsibilities that included writing the job description for all employees of the Signal Corps, as well as auditing all positions annually.  She retired after 30 years of service.

Her funeral service will be 11am Friday at St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church. 35 N. Malin Rd. Broomall, Pa 19008. Viewing: one hour prior to service in the church. Interment: Fernwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church. Vraim Funeral Home,Inc.
