Eleonora Valko

 81 years old.  Born in Laconia (Sparta) and thereafter living in Athens, Greece.  She graduated from The Pantian Institute in Athens. She worked as a paralegal in the Pireaus Law office in Greece.  Married in Athens in 1963 to surviving spouse William G. Valko, she resided first in Dover, DE and thereafter in the Greater Philadelphia area.  There she served as a Greek language instructor at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. George in Philadelphia.  In the decades following, she was an active participant at St. Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church in Broomall, PA.  Both she and her husband were associated with Belar Electronics, in Devon, PA around this time.  In addition to her husband William, she is survived by many nieces and nephews in both Greece and the United States.  Family and friends are invited to her viewing which will be held from 10 am to 11am Wednesday, 8-24-16, at St Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church 35 N. Malin Rd Broomall, Pa 19008. Her funeral service will follow at 11am in the church.  Interment will be at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to the church.
