My deepest sympathy to the Zanikos family. I knew and worked with Izzy for many years and can’t say enough about him. He was an wonderful person and a kindred spirit. We use to laugh a lot as we traded stories about our families and how similar it was managing clean up programs at DuPont and EPA. Izzy and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Elaine & Family

Our deepest condolences to you & your family. Izzy was loved & respected by all who had the pleasure to know him, always smiling & happy. He had dinner at our home several times, we enjoyed his company, his faith never waivered. May Izzy Rest In Peace and may God's Peace surround you & your family. God Bless you & your family.

Izzy was my first friend. We started playing together when he was 4 and I was two. in the years before cell phones and electronic games, the games we played came from our imaginations. When Johnny was born, I thought that he was Izzy's brother. They lived on either side of us. Izzy took me to school when I was 5,6 and 7, but he would walk ahead so no one would know the "little squirt" was with him. Through Izzy, I met Teena and Litza and Judy.

Elaine, John, Maria, and Demetri;
I'm sorry for your loss and pray for peace and comfort for you all. I met Izzy through a mutual friend, Eric Brown on several brief occasions. Even so, as it has been said the true measure of a man is not in the things he gathered in life but in the lives he touched while living. By my account, your husband and dad touched my life well. May the Lord bless you and comfort you in this time of grief.

Love Bucky

I am devastated by the loss of my dear friend Izzy. I couldn't love him more if he were my own brother. We shared many good times in college and after. He was one of the two pillars of my life in college that kept me going through the depths of as yet undiagnosed clinical depression. I look forward to sharing another glass of ouzo with him at another time and another day. Rest in peace buddy. Opa.
