One year ago today, 7/14/16, my big brother Jack left us to rest in heavenly peace. When we were growing up I always referred to him as my 'big' brother,, and my brother Albert as my 'kid' brother. I miss them both.

Jack, it has been a year without you, but Denise and I feel your presence with us all the time. Of course you are in our memories and our hearts. To all who knew Jack, take a moment today to remember him with his big smile and his teasing way.. that made you laugh,, Jack, you may be gone but never, never forgotten. Rest in peace. With Love, Your Sister..

Started working on my Christmas cards, and got to Jack's name and realized that for the first time in many, many years, I will not be sending him a card, and it truly hurt. I still miss him, though we lived a thousand miles apart. Just wanted to say, Merry Christmas, Jack.

I am so very sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort give you the peace that surpasses all thought during this difficult time. (Philippians 4:6,7)

Thank you "k". Are you a friend of Jack's? If so, would you be willing to identify yourself, at least privately, to my email ?

I was honored to train with Jack for 3 weeks at the Philadelphia GO of New York Life
in September 1969. When I was assigned my own office, Jack was there on the phone to answer my numerous questions and offer encouragement. It was such a pleasure to meet up with Jack and some of us other oldtimers and share stories in recent years. Jack had such a positive influence on so many people, but above all, he loved his family. Our heartfelt condolences to you, Margie and Denise.

My Beloved Uncle Jack,

I wanted to be the first to express my undying love and devotion to the bright light that you are. (Your good friend, Mr. and Mrs, Tillman's daughter, beat me here, with an expression of appreciation for which I share with you in being very grateful.) I know you're lighting up heaven with your smile, and that sweetly mischievous twinkle in your eye.. (which is well represented by this photo Mommy selected!) And I know that the angels were happily waiting for you to join their ranks as you were always already one of them during your entire time on earth.

Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Marge and Denise - we will miss our friend and mentor Jack. Jack was instrumental in our NYL days teaching us the business that became our life for 40 years. We are proud to have been his friends for all these years. God bless our pal; rest in peace Jack.

I am so sorry to hear that Jack has passed away. I knew him most of my life. He has a kindness and gentlity rarely encountered in today's world. He will be sorely missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Thank you, Diane, for the very kind words. Your comments characterizing Jack as remarkably kind and gentle echo what we are hearing over and over as friends respond to his passing. Which greatly warm the hearts of my mother, Margie, and I as we are left missing his loving (and joyful!) presence in our daily lives.

My Uncle thought the world of your parents, Diane, and of you as well. The Tillmans will always be like family to the Dandegians. My Uncle is no doubt celebrating friendship with your parents in the forever after at this very moment.
