Rose Marie Semerjian

Born May 26, 1927, she was the beloved wife of John Semerjian for 45 years after losing her first husband Higas Artzerounian to medical problems at a young age. She was the second of four children of George and Armenohi Boyajian.  She was the proud mother of her 5 children and their families.  Rose leaves her son David Artzerounian, his wife Eva Thomson and their son David Jr; her daughter Diane Walker, her husband Wes and their three children Wes Jr, Alex, and Kimberly Parsons; her son Daniel Artzerounian, his wife Laurie and their four children Chase, Steve, Billy, and Krista, her daughter Donna Dolbashian, her husband Gary and their two children Tyler and Cory; and her daughter Denise Artzerounian. She also leaves two great-grandchildren: Madison and Taylor Parsons.

She has always received loving support from her sisters and brother and their families Zevart Shakarjian and her deceased husband Diran; Grace Pakhtigian and her deceased husband Khosrof and Eddie Boyajian and his wife Margaret. 

No matter what the circumstances, she always approached life's challenges with a positive attitude, never had an unkind word about anyone, and always welcomed the family and friends of her children.  Her love of her husband John was foremost in her life and it sustained her through a series of severe medical issues.  Kisses from her family were her vitamins and she never hesitated to give one on each cheek to all her visited with her.

Her funeral service will be 11am Saturday September 17, 2016 at Saint Sahag and Saint Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 630 Clothier Rd, Wynnewood, PA 19096. Viewing from 9:30-11am in the church.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Saint Sahag and Saint Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church
